In 2015, Beconnected Industrial has opened a state-of-the-art, #1 printing and labeling factory in Dukem, Ethiopia. 7500m2, brand-new, fully-equipped with the most state-of-the-art machinery. We produce high-standard labels, with first-class woven Jacquard and printed label machines. We can make any kind and type of Jacquard woven and printed label for the African market. We also have one of the world’s best ellipse printing and heat transfer machines and next to that we can offer 800 meter manual printing. We have a daily capacity of 80.000 prints under international management. We work for foreign international retails where we comply with the high chemical compliance standards.

Job description

  • Day- to- coordination, follow- up, trouble- shooting and performance management (motivating, coaching and guidance) of human resources personnel to ensure their effective and efficient performance in the areas of recruitment, compensation & benefit and training as well as its supporting administration;
  • Stay up-to date about changes in labour laws and all HR-related legal requirements;
  • Responsible for meeting social compliance aspects (OSH, BSCI and other management systems or certifications);
  • Management support: development and implementation of new procedures and level 8 follow ups, recommendation for improvement to management;
  • Ensures that HR develops Job descriptions according to needs within different departments;
  • Ensures that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures;
  • Be involved with development of organizational plan – employee on boarding – performance appraisal – training, compensation and rewards;
  • Maintaining employee data through HR database;
  • Review of different monthly HR reports (payroll, absences, medical, loans…)
  • Support in implementing performance management (December 2017)

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • BA/MBA in Human Resource Management, Management, and Business Administration, or related field of study
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience.at least 3 years of experience must be in managerial level. preferable in Garment sector
  • Fluent in English, Amharic and Oromifa.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong commitment Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of different backgrounds;
  • Highly organized and capable of managing deadlines;
  • Team player;
  • Pro- active and able to take ownership;
  • Analyse problems and able to find appropriate solutions;
  • Excellent planning, organisational, analytical and decision making skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.
