CALL FOR ODL 2018-2019 APPLICATIONS
The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for admission into year one (Generic) and year two (Mature Entry) of its programmes offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL).
The following are programmes on offer and their entry requirements:
PROGRAMME SPECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Extension
2. Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management
3. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics
4. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Innovations
Generic Students (Year One): 6 credit passes including English Language, Biology, Mathematics, Physical Science/Physics and Chemistry at MSCE or any comparable O-Level qualification. For Mature Entry (Year two): An MSCE and a relevant diploma obtained from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Tuition Fees is MK 300,000.00 per year or MK 150,000.00 per semester. In addition to the Tuition Fees, students are expected to pay MK 30,000.00 per semester for study materials (Modules).
To apply; Generic students should complete an application form, attach a copy of an MSCE certificate or notification of results and an application fee bank deposit slip, and submit it to the University Registrar’s office using the address below. Prospective students can also submit the application forms to the ODL Centres in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu. For Mature entry students in addition to the MSCE certificate include a copy of diploma and transcript.

All applicants are required to deposit a non-refundable application fee of K5, 500.00 for Malawians and U$200.00 for international applicants to the following LUANAR ODL FEES bank account:
