Available Job Positions
The following Job Position is available at Limbe Leaf Employees SACCO:
Reporting to the SACCO Manager, the successful candidate shall assume the following duties and responsibilities:
- Providing information and training to members and attend member needs to ensure effective communication between the SACCO and its clientele.
- Maintaining membership and new accounts registers.
- Post disbursement screening of applications.
- Ensuring that the SACCOs banking hall and member accessible areas have enough accessories for members use.
- Meet and build rapport with members as well as other stakeholders.
- Process opening of new accounts and conducting loan interviews.
- Educating new members about SACCO operations and policies.
- Ensure that all loan records: Loan application forms, security documents, communications between SACCO and member in relation to a particular loan and all such documents are properly completed and filed in the member’s personal file.
- Ensuring that loans are processed in a timely manner according to the agreement, member needs and LIMBE LEAF EMPLOYEES SACCO lending policies.
- Assessing loan applications for qualification within the guidance of SACCO policies.
- Assisting in updating Credit management policies and procedures to ensure that SACCO’s activities are within set standards and good practice.
- Assisting in the SACCO’s Credit function by producing periodic reports; policy compliance; regulatory compliance; bad loans management; provisioning; collections.
- Assisting the Cashier when need arises.
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
He/she must have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Banking or Financial Accounting from a recognized institution,
- At least two years experience in a similar position,
- Proven working knowledge of computer packages related to banking operations
- A proven experience in Accounting software and spreadsheet packages,
- High level interpersonal skills.
