- Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the procurement functions of the company; initiates to enhance the procurement management activities of the company.Duties and tasks
- Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the procurement activities of the 54 capital group companies;
- Compile and analyze procurement needs;
- Develop specification of items to be procured;
- Review and evaluate prices of needed materials and services in the market periodically;
- Review and monitor status of Purchase Request and Expected Time of procurement;
- Review and follow-up release of shipment in custom/port;
- Prepare and follow-up the transportation of goods upon release from custom;
- Verify and inspect all incoming materials and equipment prior to receive and storage;
- Evaluate and report fast moving items and critical stock for immediate purchasing;
- Prepare weekly status report on in and out of materials and equipment to the Supply Chain Director;
- Analyze the physical inventory of all Factories stock every month/quarter of the year and initiate procurement process;
- Completes all performance management activities including: performance planning, monitoring, and annual performance appraisals;
- Make regular follow up of the purchasing process and ensure the arrival of procured items in accordance to the agreement.
- Function to centralize Purchase of Raw material, Packing Material and Engineering / Project Purchases of the group companies including consumables covered by 80:20 principle.
- Function will cover all local or imported components of purchase of BOM required by plants.
- MBA/BA in Purchasing and supply chain management, Supply chain or related fields
- 5 years and plus of experience in procurement
- Effective negotiation, organization skills, ability to priorities and influence at all levels
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced international environment
- Analytical, inquisitive and very high attention to detail
- Relationship building , problem solving skills and ability to work cross functionally
