Addis Ababa University has earmarked ETB 10 million to undertake a study on COVID-19. The first Thematic Working Group on COVID-19 is established today and awarded Birr one million to conduct action research on COVID-19 and related issues. The team is an inter-disciplinary team composed of different colleges and institutes, and kicked-off its first meeting today on the 26th of March, 2022. The team is expected to present its research findings that would contribute to the fight against the deadly virus. The rest of the fund will be provided on competition basis for interested AAU staff who would like to undertake a similar study.

አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በኮቪድ-19 ላይ ጥናት ለማካሄድ 10 ሚሊየን ብር መደበ፡፡ በዛሬው እለት በኮቪድ-19 ላይ ጥናት የሚያኪያሂድ የጥናት ቡድን የተቋቋመ ሲሆን ቡድኑ ጥናቱን ለመጀመር ይችል ዘንድ ከተመደበው አጠቃላይ ፈንድ ውስጥ አንድ ሚሊየን ብር ወጪ ሆኖ ተሰጥቶታል፡፡ የጥናት ቡድኑ አባላት ከተለያዩ ኮሌጆችና ተቋማት ከልዩ ልዩ መስክ የተውጣጡ ምሁራንን ያካተተ ሲሆን የመጀመሪያ ስብሰባውንም በዛሬው እለት መጋቢት 17 ቀን 2015 ዓ.ም አድርጓል፡፡ የጥናት ቡድኑ ይህን ገዳይ የኮሮና ቫይረስ ለመዋጋት ለሚደረገው ጥረት አስተዋፅኦ ለማድረግ ጠቃሚ ግብአት ሊሆን የሚችል የጥናት ግኝቱን እንደሚያቀርብ ይጠበቃል፡፡ ለጥናቱ የተመደበው ቀሪው ገንዘብ በውድድር ላይ ተመስርቶ በመሰል ጥናት ለመሳተፍ ለሚሹ የአዲስ አባባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ስታፍ አባላት የሚቀርብ ይሆናል፡፡
