A Media content creator Will be making interesting sort videos that are compiled News, storytelling, educational, entertaining and other highly engaging video content that raises the creative bar and the boundaries.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Finding interesting topics and brain storming new ideas

·      Research and organize video media content

·      Manage all aspects from pre- through post-production; including proofreading script, review scripts, sound mixing and image chasseing.

·      Supervise and manage video media production

·      Find latest information, news, reports and press release

·      Create interesting headlines and titles

·      Create expressive and informative images

·      Fact-checking long-form content pieces

·      Manage time effectively across multiple tasks of production in a fast-paced environment

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

> Educated and certified in one of the following fields or related

·       Journalism

·       Communications

·      Theatre Arts

Experience:

>Minimum of 6 month previous experience in one of the above fields or similar

Skills:

·      Excellent reading, writing skills in English and Amharic.

·      Intermediate typing skill in English and Amharic.

·      Basic Graphics design skills on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator.

·       Basic video editing knows how.

·       Excellent surfing/browsing/ skill in all relevant social media platforms.

·       Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment, and maintain grace under pressure

·       Excellent web browsing, web research and information gathering skills.
