Position: Senior Finance Officer
ACPF is recruiting a Senior Finance Officer who would be responsible for reviewing, processing, and recording, analyzing, and interpreting financial transactions; she/he is responsible for controlling compliance requirements and preparing periodic reports. The Senior Finance Officer has the custody of financial documents and is responsible for all payment verification functions.
This is a senior position, based at the ACPF headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Senior Finance Officer will interact with local, Pan-African and global partners on a day to day basis with regards to the management and reporting on the various grants operated by ACPF.
Qualifications/Skills : Qualification:
• The successful candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Previous experience in International NGOs is advantageous. She/he should have a Degree in Accounting from a recognized institution. The candidate needs to have strong interpersonal, communication and representational skills. She/he needs to have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. English is a must.
