Position: Senior ICT Officer
ACPF is recruiting a Senior ICT Officer who would be responsible for Systems Administration as well as regular IT operational support to verify and ensure that the entire ICT infrastructure of the organisation is well maintained, protected from environmental and data risks, documented and operating smoothly. The Senior ICT Officer will also regularly advise management of any need to upgrade or replace computer or software equipment at ACPF. The Senior ICT Officer is responsible for ensuring users get maximum benefit and support from the system.
This is a senior position, based at the ACPF headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Senior ICT Officer will play a particular role in monitoring the organisations internet connectivity, documenting the ICT infrastructure, policies and procedures as well as managing the computer server and technical programming aspects of all ACPF websites.
Qualifications/Skills : Qualification:
• The successful candidate should have a minimum of 8 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Previous experience in International NGOs is advantageous. She/he should have a Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognised institution. Industry standard certifications are required. Minimum standards include renewed Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications. The candidate needs to have strong interpersonal, communication and representational skills. She/he needs to have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. English is a must. French is advantageous.
