Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling petty cash according to LI Ethiopia petty cash policy
  • Effect payment in line with existing LI accounting policy and procedures
  • Follow up and manage timely settlement and flow of activity advances
  • Collect advices, checkbooks, and bank statements from the bank
  • Request petty cash reimbursement before it reaches the minimum level set
  • Ensure that cash is kept in a safe box always
  • Make sure all payments to vendors through both check and petty cash are made after verifications of required documents by designated staff
  • Process monthly request of office supplies including paper, stationery, toner, refreshments, cleaning materials
  • Verifies bills for telephone, internet and other office utilities and process payment
  • Perform photocopying, binding and filing of documents as required
  • Assist during events like training, procurement, annual inventory and office set up
  • Ensure stock management systems by establishing/updating catalogue of all property items kept in general store or temporary field storage
  • Provides updates on status of stored items including type, quantity, and pipelines as required

Job Requirements


  • BA or Diploma in Accounting, Banking/Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years experience for BA and 7 years for Diploma in NGO
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Can present guarantee
  • Ability to live and serve in remote areas
