CURE has an exceptional opportunity for a Storyteller at its hospital in Ethiopia. The Storyteller’s primary responsibilities involve the collection, authoring, and uploading of media to support the CUREkids Program, the Hero Program, as well as other communications meant for use on the Internet and in print both for the MSC and in support of the local hospital’s marketing and donor support needs. The Storyteller is essentially the eyes and ears of CURE, documenting the lives of those the organization gets to serve.

Job Requirements
Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from a qualified, recognized medical institution.
- Board certification, or board eligible, preferred.
- Current and unrestricted medical license.
- Two (2) years experience in a private or hospital practice.
- Experience in the developing world strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English required. Fluency in one of the local language(s) may also be required depending on the location.
- Strong communication skills, especially with those of different cultures.
- Competency and proficiency in anesthetic procedures.
