Holt International Children’s Services, Inc. is an international non-profit US based child welfare organization, licensed by the Ethiopian Government to provide services for children and their families at risk. Holt Ethiopia invites candidates to apply for the JuniorAccountant position for its Finance Department. S/he will collaborate with the program teams in reviewing and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial donors’ reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The position holder is responsible for processing all payments from the bank, verification of completeness of documentation in relation to policies, internal control and other procedures authorizations, budget availability and others. The incumbent is also responsible for coding to the proper accounts, preparation of checks and wire transfer requests, and handing over of the same to the payee.

Qualifications:

First Degree in Accounting from recognized university with a minimum of two years relevant experience. Basic knowledge of Computer, Peach tree and any other accounting software has added value.
