Responsibility 1: Collect indicators follow-up data (Baseline; Intermediary targets…
Activities:
• Based on the M& E plan and with the support of Project managers & M&E officer, prepare & conduct Focused group discussions’, Key Informants interview, House Hold surveys to update indicator value.
• Be the focal person for HI Gambella base, on UNHCR collaborative data tracking platform, taking responsibility of data entry and data tracking. This can be done with the support of M&E officer and in coordination with project officers. (Data validation will be done by Emergency Coordinator & Project manager).
Responsibility 2: Establish and implement Feedback mechanism with beneficiaries
Activities:
• In coordination with partner organization M& E and with the support of Project Managers & M& E officer set-up a feedback mechanism (as organization).
• Learn and implement Survey CTO platform to collect feedback from beneficiaries.
• Be to focal person to track feedback, direct it to responsible person for response and deliver the response to beneficiary.
• Conduct post distribution monitoring (PDM) for IWASH to assess the satisfaction level of beneficiaries.
Responsibility 3: Compile beneficiaries’ data
Activities:
• Compile and harmonize beneficiary data, existing and from the field, hard copy and in soft copy, for each project with the support of project team
Responsibility 4: Fill and disseminate project lessons learned (End of the project)
Activities;
• In coordination with Project Managers and M& E officer, and support of project officers prepare and document lessons learned under each thematic and develop success stories.
Job Requirements
Education :
- Under-graduate degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Information Management or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years in a monitoring and evaluating role involving the design, implementation and analysis of monitoring and evaluation.
Competencies
- Demonstrable understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles and practice.
- Excellent Information Technology (IT) skills including knowledge of M&E Data Processing Software.
- Strong analytical skills including analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.
Personal qualities:
- Fluent in English and Amharic
- Systematic personality who pays attention to detail, accuracy and exact evidence
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good written and communication skills.
- Very good organizational and time management skills required to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to the field.
