MODETH Outsource PLC (ModernETH) is a technology focused outsourcing center launched in January of 2008. ModernETH is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with offices in the United States and UAE.

ModernETH is committed to designing and developing simple, easy-to-use web and mobile experiences. We deliver comprehensive services in software development, web design, mobile application development, graphic design and maintenance and support. Furthermore, we import and trade in a range of ITC tools and machines upon our client’s needs and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Design and building website based on client requirements.
• Setting up the back end of a site
• Working with the style and functionality or the front end
• Write supporting code for web applications or web sites.
• Testing and updating the site as needed
• Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems
• Working cordially with other team members and everyone in the office.
• Any other related work directed by your Manager.

Qualification and Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Understanding of Responsive and Adaptive Web Design paradigms
• Excellent written skills in English
• Excellent time management and problem solving skills

• Work effectively with and encourage others to work effectively with people who have diverse backgrounds, skills and attitudes
• Ability to work independently, developing action plans and implementing goals and objectives
• Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop are a plus

• Handling multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and effectively in a cross-functional team environment
