The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) was established by government decree on 8 July 1935 in the aftermath of the second Italian aggression over Ethiopia. ERCS began by providing humanitarian services to wounded soldiers and civilian victims. That same year on the 25 September 1935, ERCS was officially recognized as the 48th member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Job Requirements
- M.A./B.A. degree in Management/ Development studies/ Economics/ Sociology or social work studies.
- Minimum of 6/8 years work experience with community–based approaches project /programme and preferably with development projects.
- Proven coordination skills and knowledge in project/program management considered an advantage.
- Willing to give voluntary service to the society with his/her own initiative.
- Second/ First degree in procurement and Sales/ Marketing Management /Supplies Management/ Accounting/ Procurement Management / Related fields and 4/6 years related work experience, out of which 2 years in a supervisory or senior position(s)
- Willing to give voluntary service to the society with his/her own initiative.
- College Diploma, Supply management & Accounting 2, Years’ Experience
