Retrak Jobs Vacancies 2018
Retrak is a faith-based NGO that works with vulnerable children who have been living on the street to provide real alternatives to life on the street. Retrak has a rigorous child safeguarding policy with which all staff must comply.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase all goods required for the programme (food, clothes, and educational materials) in accordance with Retrak’s procurement policy.
- Pay rent and utilities bills by due date.
- Maintain a daily expenditure sheet and ensure expenditure is in line with the budget.
- Assist in organising the repair and maintenance of the centre facilities.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in accounting, management or marketing
- 1-2 years of experience working as a purchasing officer
General Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic
- Ability to document all services provided to children
- Ability to relate well to children, especially vulnerable children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work within the Christian ethos of Retrak and promote this when required.
