JOB TITLE: Sponsorship Data Quality and Communications facilitator
CONTRACT LENGTH: Two years
LOCATION: Zomba, Malawi
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Data Quality and Communications assistant is a key member of the Malawi Sponsorship Team. She/he will work hand in hand with the Data Quality Communications Coordinator to ensure overall quality, authenticity and timeliness of all sponsor-to-child communications/data including routine, standard communications and child photos. She/he will also assist in documentation of success stories, case studies, videography and editing of sponsorship communication materials for the entire sponsorship program and work with appropriate sections and units within Save the Children to make sure Agency policies and procedures governing child data are consistently adhered to.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
I. Data quality checks
Ensure quality, authenticity and timeliness of communications/data including photos, drawings, letters, packages and other communication materials for sponsorship funded programs
Review both sponsor correspondence and child response for appropriateness of content and make sure that the childs hand and voice are evident in the childs letter or drawing
Safeguard child and sponsor privacy at all times by ensuring correspondence does not contain last names or contact information
Participate in all key Sponsorship activities, including but not limited to, annual planning and reporting, program reviews, self-assessment, Annual Family Update, Mid-Year Eligibility Checks
II. Knowledge Management
Assist in collecting sponsorship marketing communications deliverables which include Case studies, success stories, video assets
Assist in capacity building of relevant program staff in communication/data quality tools, documentation and report writing and provide editorial support to programs
III. Media
Provide support in engaging the media to cover events, field visits and other activities requiring media coverage within the sponsorship program and ensuring appropriate messaging
