INTERNAL: Quality Manager, HR & Admin manager, Sales manager, logistic Manager & Finance manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Requests, receives, examines, records, stores, issues store items to requesting units based on rules and regulations of the company;
• Develops a comprehensive location coding system;
• Makes an efficient use of available space, reduces handling costs;
• Checks that requisitions are properly filled, verifies that supplies delivered are in accordance with requisition and ensures their systematic storage;
• Supervises and coordinates the assembly and Repacking of dismantled & damaged goods and the loading/ unloading of trucks;
• Conducts physical count of all inventory items in the store;
• Responds to all requests for items in a quick and efficient manner;
• Identifies and reports dead or obsolete items and treats accordingly;
• Establishes and implements a stock ordering system;
• Unpacks stationery items and checks invoices and purchase orders against stock received and stores same;
• Receives requisitions, checks signatures for authenticity, withdraws goods from stock and issues as per the request and approval;
• Keeps the stock balance goods up-to-date by reconciling the bin cards with the stock record cards;
• Ensures that all precautions are taken for the safety of stored goods;
• Operates various types of material handling equipment;
• Periodically checks records against stocks held and submits reports;

• Critically examines material characteristics such as size, weight, associated hazards and perishability before storing materials in warehouses;
• Maintains proper records of details on goods-received note, issuance, transfers and other working documents;
• Keeps a separate record of stock movements;
• Responsible for issuing receipts up on delivery of stocks from the store.
• Ensures maximum protection of stocks against all causes of deterioration and damages;
• Considers and complies with the layout factors of similarity, popularity, size, characteristics of materials and capacity of storage facilities;
• Receives and unpacks materials, prepares Goods Received Notes /GRN/;
• Receives requisitions, checks authenticity of signatures and other authorizations, prepares Supply Issue Notes and issues as per the request and approval by superior;
• Requests purchase of fast moving items well ahead of running short of stock;
• Compares the purchased materials against invoices and purchase orders;
• Returns the purchases to suppliers if the items purchased do not meet the specifications provided in the respective purchase orders;
• Ensures that the purchased materials are as per the requisitions and specifications provided;
• Performs other job related duties as required by the immediate supervisor.

DECISION MAKING POWERS AND AUTHORITIES:

• If the receiving stocks are damage and not fit as the required standard you can take your Owen decision
• If there is damage immediately you informed to immediate boss

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and Experience Required:

EDUCATION (formal education):

• Minimum:-   BA Degree in Supplies Management , Procurement Management or Materials Management

EXPERIENCE:

• At least three years experience in Warehouse Supervising
