Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions tenable at various SRWB offices.
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (Tenable at Zomba – Head Office)
The candidates should possess a Diploma in General Fitting plus two years relevant experience in a busy organization.
Under the general supervision of the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate shall ensure sound operations of components through maintenance of equipment and the machinery. He/she shall assist in installation, servicing and maintaining of the water pumps; maintaining systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance; preparing weekly maintenance schedules; ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations; repairing, rebuilding or replacing faulty components and monitoring of resource utilization for maintenance works done. The successful candidate should be reliable; have great eye for details and ability to meet deadlines for targets; have knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations; and possess good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
