Tal Garments Manufacturing Plc Jobs Vacancies 2018
o ensure the self-monitoring is executed as plan, one topic audit per month between labor or health and safety. Coordinate the cross-audit planning between the factories in every 3 months for factory where nearby sister factory is available.
o performed the self-monitoring itself or ensure the relevant PIC (health & safety) perform the self-monitoring according to the audit schedule.
o prepare the self-audit report and work together with relevant function to provide corrective actions plan, review the corrective actions plan to ensure the corrective action address the root causes of the non-compliance and provide long term solution.
· Social Compliance:
o take the lead in ensuring factory’s social compliance performance (including health and safety) are met/in-line with the relevant local regulations, legislations, Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR group guidelines and customer codes of conduct.
o identify area for improvement in social compliance and engage the improvement within the factory
o take lead in reaching the CSR KPI target, identify the area that need to be improve and conduct corrective action plan that has been identified from the KPI
o provide/coordinate the necessary training for relevant department on the social compliance needs
o communicate and update constantly overall social compliance performance with CSR Group, work together with the support of CSR Group to improve factory’s social compliance performance
· Local Compliance Regulations:
o keep updated on the relevant local compliance regulations and communicate updated regulation to all related department.
o provide support to all relevant department in implementing the update of local compliance regulations by reviewing and providing guideline/technical knowledge.
o follow up on the corrective action plan execution until each item is completed.
· External Compliance – Customer Audit:
o facilitate external compliance audit by supporting customer communication on the audit, coordinating the schedule, communicate the audit schedule to all related departments in factory, prepare all the documents/data need, complete the factory profile for audit.
o support relevant departments in preparing corrective actions plan, review the corrective actions plan to ensure the corrective action address the root causes of the non-compliance and provide long term solution.
· External Compliance – Subcontractor Audit:
o facilitate subcontractor screening process from initiating to approving step
o coordinate factory’s internal audit team to audit the subcontractor, organized the audit schedule with the subcontractor
o prepare the audit report, review the report and suggest recommendation to the CSR group for approving or not approving the subcontractor of the first screening
First Degree in Occupational health and Safety/Environmental Studies or any related field of study and four years’ experience in manufacturing industries.
