Identify coffee processing clients and provide them with technical support in the following areas:

• Work on selection of wet mills of beneficiary cooperatives and strengthening of their sustainable coffee business practices
• Participate in regular training and deliver training to cooperative Staff and leadership on Cooperative management & Gender mainstreaming.
• Deliver timely training on sustainability standards(social Responsibility & Ethics, Occupational Health & safety and Environmental Responsibility), Coffee processing operations and coffee quality control etc..,
• Conduct Coffee quality assessment and facilitate cupping events at wet mill sites.
• Follow up and support clients in implementation of sustainability standards, coffee processing and coffee quality control practices.
• Together with cooperative management and wet mill staff develop environmental management plan and risk assessment implementation plan.  Follow up, and support its application.
• Assist and support clients in establishment and functioning of input provision centers, renovation of wet mills and installation of ecopulper-wet mills.
• Conduct sustainability audit on timely bases and together with management prepare action plan. Follow up its implementation and compliance.
• Submit weekly field report to Project Manager and support impact monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Work closely with clients and Woreda level government agencies, and participate in industry initiatives and partnerships with key stakeholders on issues that promote the mission of TechnoServe’s coffee program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field – business, agriculture, rural development, cooperative management, economics, agricultural economics and other related field of studies.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: coffee processing or agronomy, agri-business, business administration, cooperative management, SME development, agricultural training or extension.
• Experience in implementation of sustainability standards in an agricultural setting such as in agricultural production, wet mill processing, and knowledge of coffee processing and coffee quality.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
• Willingness to spend significant time in rural areas.
• Excellent English oral & written presentation skills.

• Motor bicycle riding ability, having valid driving license and willingness to ride a motor bicycle is required.
