Supervisor (1^st Level): Warehouse and Fleet Manager

Subordinates: Loading/unloading, DE palletize/palletize people, Forklift Drivers, truck Drivers, chemist, production supervisor, procurement and financeINTERNAL: Quality Manager, HR manager, General Service

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives factory raw material , spare parts, equipment’s other incoming materials to the store
• Ensures that the quality, quantity, weight  of received of items are corresponding to relevant documents
• Checks the validity of material requisition form from user departments and prepare material issue voucher.
• Check that the store the store requisition document is signed by authorized person.
• Checks and ensures that raw materials are dispatched based on First In First Out (FIFO method).
• Properly maintain the filling system of the storing and issuing documents.
• Properly register the damage in the loading and unloading activity and report in the way that the company can claim the damage
• Ensures that adequate protection is provided for material spare parts/raw material in the store.
• Performs physical count and ascertain records of daily issued raw materials/spare parts after identifying/segregating them and reconcile the issue voucher record against physical count.
• Work on the store and store premises are kept clean.
• Checks stock levels periodically.
• Prepares periodic (weekly, monthly semi-annual and annual) reports of the store activities and submit to your immediate boss/Store Head/.
• Participates in the annual inventory taking activities and reconciliation of physical count with the stock record and bin card balances.
• Responsible for doing any job when assigned by the store head.
  

OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

Stocks (products and RM):

• Stocks received/dispatched are accounted for
• High level of housekeeping
• FIFO procedures are followed

Stock Rotation (products and RM) Reports:

• Bin cards are used and fortnightly stock-age analyses is done
• Daily, weekly, monthly reports are correctly and timely prepare

SHE:

• Safe healthy practices are maintained and facilities and environment are kept cleaned and squared.

Supervision Variable Costs:

• Subordinates motivated

DECISION MAKING POWERS AND AUTHORITIES:

• If the receiving stocks are damage and not fit as the required standard you can take your own decision
• If there is damage immediately you informed to immediate boss.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and Experience Required:

EDUCATION (formal education):

• Minimum: 10+4 and above in procurement and supply management

Experience:

• At least two years Warehousing experience
