Develops and upon approval implements safety, health and environmental protection policy of the factory; investigates, studies and conducts activities that promote safety, health and sanitation and environmental protection; undertakes safety, health and sanitation and environmental protection training; conducts safety, health and sanitation inspections; records, compiles and analyses occupational accidents and hazards data and reports to the supervisor; implements national and other relevant international safety, health, sanitation and environmental  regulations;

• Comprehensive knowledge of federal/regional environmental regulations and policies
• Comprehensive knowledge of risk analysis as it relates to environmental emergencies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety and health principles and practices
• Considerable knowledge of waste disposal and treatment techniques and procedures
