Professional Alliance for Development-Padet Vacancies 2018
Professional Alliance for Development (PADet) is an Ethiopian Residential Charity organization which runs various developmental programs at community level focusing on Reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, child development and Livelihood promotion programs to empower vulnerable women, children and youth in Amhara Region, Afar Region and Oromia Region.
PADet has been working since 1998 in partnership with various International Donors, Regional Governments, National CSOs and the communities.Job Summary: Be responsible for the monitoring & evaluation function of the organization; ensures that result based M&E related activities are successfully implemented and that relevant learning documented, disseminated to staff and used to inform future decisions; provides technical guidance for a comprehensive system of performance management and leadership in the development of policy, strategic, program and projects’ result based monitoring and evaluations; Produces the final result based monitoring and evaluation reports of projects in collaboration with Program Manager tasks as required;
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures the development and implementation of result based M&E system, framework and strategies by providing expertise and supports as well as acting as eservice hub for related initiatives
- Provides technical guidance for a comprehensive system of performance management and leadership in the development of policy, strategic, program and project’s result based monitoring and evaluations;
- Develops and promotes the implementation and use of quality result based monitoring framework (tools and processes) and reporting, formats and proposal review systems for programs and projects;
- Provides strategic leadership in the collection, documentation and sharing of best practices for improvements in program implementation;
- Ensures the availability of sufficient, relevant and consistent database for reporting purposes to different stakeholders and to be used as input for evaluation that will be conducted at subsequent stages;
- Defines the format and content of the periodic reports that the institution will provide to the donors (in consultation with their formats and contents) and Government agencies (and again in consultation with their formats and contents), etc.;
- Performs other related tasks as required
Position grade: XI
Terms of Employment: projects based and subject to performance of employee

Job Requirements
Qualification and skills Requirement:
- First Degree or Masters in Sociology, Management, Social Science or other related field of study
- For 1st Degree at least 8 years and for Master 6 years experience in NGO in resource mobilization, proposal development, ample experience in coordinating, in project designing, implementation, monitoring and reporting
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft basics and internet (MS Word, Excel, Access and Power point);
- Special training in strategic management, leadership, team building & coordinating
- Proven report writing and communication skills;
- Good interpersonal and organizing and make logical and timely decision skills;
