A career opportunity has arisen in our organisation for the position of Finance and Operations Manager. FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER The successful applicant will be responsible for providing supervision and leadership for the company business services function that comprises of Financial Management in relationship to financial tasks of the company that is consistent with capital and resource preservation and controls; sound risk management framework that minimises the company exposure to control breakdown and risks; provision of oversight and leadership into the procurement, logistics and supply chain, human capital, planning and finance and Information technology functional areas. The successful candidate shall report to the Managing Director. Key responsibilities:- • Financial Management and reporting. • Tax planning and management. • Annual operating plan (AOP). • Ensures appropriate standard costing is applied to the company products that ensures appropriate allocation of costs at a product level and in turn assist in product pricing as appropriate. • Reviews Farmer Analysis reports for submission to the executive board on monthly basis. • Provides management and leadership oversight to logistics, procurement and supply chain Section that aims at efficient processes, value for money supply chain practices and efficient procurement that meets quality, dependability and price proposition. • Provides management and leadership to business services provided by the accounting, IT support and human resources services teams. Qualifications and Experience • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, coupled with a professional qualification in Accounting (FCA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent); Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from a recognised and reputable University shall be an added advantage. • Vast experience of Management and Leadership skills, People Process Improvement, Tax Knowledge and Stakeholder engagement of not less than 8 years. • Mature and reliable individual. • Experience in the Agricultural, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Manufacturing Industry. • Knowledge of ERP System such as SAP, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The Person:- The successful candidate must be versatile enough with strong liaison and networking abilities, influencing and demonstrable negotiation skills. The incumbent must have a good track record in managerial skills, and the ability to relate to a diverse group of people and have business acumen.
