TUMBUKA DESK
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Conducting interviews for the news bulletins and other current affairs programmes for both Radio and TV.
- Compiling, writing, editing and presenting of Tumbuka and other news bulletins as assigned.
- Producing and presenting current affairs and other developmental programmes in Tumbuka.
- Translating and voicing important information for broadcast on both Radio and TV.
Qualifications , experience and attributes
- The Malawi School Certificate of Education with at least a Diploma in Journalism obtained from a recognised institution of higher learning.
- At least two years experience in presenting Tumbuka on radio.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to edit audio clips and producing programs.
- Conversant with current affairs both local and international.
- Fluent and excellent writing skills in Tumbuka, English and Chichewa languages.
- Excellent translation skills.
- Excellent editing skills.
TONGA DESK
Key Responsibilities and Duties
