PSI/Ethiopia is an innovative network member of PSI with a team of more than 140 people passionate about marketing and dedicated to serving Sara! Since 2003, we have marketed products and led programs to prevent HIV, improve reproductive health including access to modern contraception for the 15-19 years old adolescents, and improve child health. We market condoms and increase condom use among people most at risk of HIV. We increase access to clean water by selling Wuha Agar, a water disinfectant. At PSI/Ethiopia we do more than simply provide products and services, we seek to create true change by making markets work for the poor to increase the use of critical health products and services that are available, affordable, and desirable to the most vulnerable Ethiopian people.

We are looking for an energetic, result oriented and dedicate Sr. Project Coordinator who will operationalize and structure the intervention, making it more cost-effective and oversee the day to day operation of ASRH In School program aimed at improving the reproductive health outcomes of 15-19 year old in school adolescents by co-designing a culturally appropriate solution with them.

Your contribution

Under the supervision of the Program Manager you will:

• Co design the operation and cost modeling for the solution to be designed in school SRH program.
• Prepare program and operation plan.
• Take a lead in budgeting, budget analysis and budget forecast.
• Effectively coordinate operational activities (e.g. scheduling, a logistical and financial organization of field trips and workshops, procurement processes, etc.).
• Ensure activities are delivered on time and within budget and do course correction as needed.
• Identify and structural problems and risks affecting the timely delivery of work streams, and promptly communicate upward with solution options and recommendations.
• Proactively and frequently engage with senior staff to seek input and enhance program outputs.
• Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements of government, donor and PSI/E are met.
• Execute a wide range of analysis drawing on best practices and use data for decision making for program enhancement.
• Compile quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.
• Manages field staff to be hired in Addis Ababa and Oromiya.
• Respond to queries in internal and external discussions and make sensible adjustments to project implementation based on the regional context.
• Lead the coordination and collaboration with regional and local key local stakeholders.
• Support and coordinate closely with the Project Manager to build and sustain strategic partnerships with regional government stakeholders and ensure sustainability.

Your KPIs

• Operation and program plan developed.
• Program outputs and milestones achieved with in a specified period.
• Budget analyzed and forecasted for enhanced budget utilization and for maintaining efficient and cost-effectiveness of a program.
• Quarter, semi -annual and annual reports compiled.
• Good rapport maintained with regional and local stakeholders

What are we looking for? The basics

• MSC/MPH/BSC/BA in Economics, Public Health, Sexual Reproductive Health, population studies or related field.
• 4/6 years of experience in relevant work.
