• Supervise and optimise the raw material reception, production and export processes, plant logistics as well raw material and utilities consumption according to plant budget¬ing and time-frames.
• Involve in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage
• Monitor the production process, product standards as set by the company, preparing a weekly production schedule in cooperation with senior management and adjusting where necessary; ensuring the production is cost effective; making sure that products are produced on time (according production planning) and meet the companies quality standard.
• Manage the company’s production and internal logistic processes
• Implement existing production protocols and systems and make adjustments when necessary to produce products within set specifications.
• Interact and liaise with departments
• Maintain and improve the ISO22000:2005 system and organic system within the company through the involvement of all employees to meet international food safety regulations and other production protocols.
• Assist in developing, updating and maintaining procedures and documentation for all food safety and organic systems.
• Ensure that employees are trained to do their respective jobs in a safe and efficient manner. Their training is documented.
• Administer duties which include time and attendance control, holiday planning, overtime control, establish the human and material resources needed.
• Take responsibility for achieving immediate and short-term objectives
• Responsible for equipment maintenance supervision; take technical decisions to reduce bottlenecks in production and ensure that health and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
• Perform any other relevant duties assigned to him by his superior or by the company’s management.

• 4 to 5 years of work experience in a similar job and minimum of one year experience in managerial position
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Amharic and English;
• Excellent communication skills in motivating and coaching employees;
• Excellent MS office packages and
• Excellent  reporting skill

• There will be periods spent standing or sitting in the same location with opportunity to move about. Occasionally required to move or lift light material or equipment.
• Also continuous standing/walking maybe required.

• Located in Yirgalem in a comfortable indoor area.
