Post: Human Resource Management Officer (Personel Audit) (Grade I)

Location: Department of Human Resource Management and Development at Capital Hill

Qualifications

Applicants should be either serving Senior Assistant Human Resource Management Officers, Senior Management Services Technicians, Senior Assistant Human Resource Management Officers (Personnel Audit) (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade, or Assistant Human Resource Management Officers/Assistant Personnel Auditors (Grade K) with a minimum of eight (8) years experience at that grade and in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) plus a computer related certificate or serving officers at either Grade J or Grade K regardless of experience and in possession of a bachelor’s degree in either Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Public Administration obtained from accredited institutions. Practical and/or hands-on experience in managing operations of Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), Payroll, Personnel Audit and Establishment Control in the Civil Service will be an added advantage.

Duties

  • Lead Teams of Senior Assistant Human Resource Management Officers (Personnel Audit) (Grade J) in personnel audit exercises; conduct personnel audits in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs);
  • Prepare personnel audit reports from personnel audits conducted in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs); monitor deletions and introductions of events in the HRMIS to ensure that they have been correctly processed, etc

Note:

Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
