Haramaya University invites competent candidates to apply for the Presidency vacant position.
Job Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have a PhD or Masters Degree/with the rank of Assistant Professor & above
- Have evidences for serving in institutions of higher learning, industry, research organizations or related institutions with a record of immense contribution and performance;
- Be able to prepare and explain a strategic plan that would serve for:
- Realizing quality, access, relevance and internalization of education provided in the university,
- Creating centers of excellence in the University,
- Devising ways of generating additional income for the university and
- Creating and expanding national and international partnership opportunities.
- Be able to offer brief explanations on key strategic plans publicly for University Board members, University Senate members and other concerned stakeholders.
How to Apply
Applicants Must submit photo copies of their academic credentials, work experience, curriculum Vitae(CV) and their strategic plan of (5 to10 pages) in an enclosed envelop to either the Office of Public and International Relations, Haramaya University main campus or Haramaya University Liaison Office, Addis Ababa within ten (10) consecutive working days from the first date of this announcement.
